Shooting quasar dragon4/29/2023 but presumably that branch point happens way early in the anime's timeline, whenever big boss man arrives. Obviously, that timeline is a bad end, and Yusei's gonna prevent it, which means we know there's definitely a branch-off point. So the final antagonist came from a wrecked future, where robots killed everyone and Yusei was dead, with two minions and three x one third minions, and before they traveled into the past, the big bad had an unhealthy obsession with Yusei and took his face/off. Can someone give me a quick rundown of this plot thread here? I'll try to explain it with what I currently know, and if I've made a mistake, give me the correct version. Z-ONE is Shooting Star's original owner, and was probably made as some sort of legacy support to Stardust Dragon judging by how much Synchro Summoning had evolved by that point, or by Z-ONE himself. No wonder Z-ONE idolized him.įurthermore, I believe the main reason that Blazar can't float into Shooting Star, from a non-symbolic standpoint, is because the card simply didn't exist in Yusei's time period in the unaltered timeline. As such, Cosmic Blazar Dragon, being the powerful, nigh unkillable thing that it is, serves as a testament to just how powerful Yusei had become in Z-ONE's future, and how he had presumably managed to create Delta Accel on his own. Without Antinomy's, and by extension, Z-ONE's, influence on the main timeline, Yusei would never have been given Shooting Star Dragon (which is technically Z-ONE's card, or the actual copy that Yusei used in his timeline), nor would he have had to appearify Shooting Quasar Dragon (which was born of Yusei's need to defeat Sandaion and the other four Timelords to beat Z-ONE, as well as the powers of Limit Over Accel Synchro and the Signer Dragons). It also seems that like u/SpiraILight mentioned, Cosmic Blazar Dragon is a natural evolution of Stardust Dragon, the keyword here being natural. And hope I didn't fuck anything up in remembering 5D's. Hope you enjoyed this dumb little analysis of mine. Him ensuring a future oast him, that even when he dies they'll be able to go further. However, instead by summoning Quasar it represents something else. In some way, when Yusei died in that previous timeline, he left nothing behind to help the future. Cosmic Blazar Dragon is stronger than Shooting Quasar Dragon, however, it leaves nothing behind should it leave. The one where the world was destroyed due to the Synchro energy vs. However, it made me think of the futures that resulted. It's pretty much unkillable without a Kaiju or a way to prevent banishment, as even if you negate the effect, it banishes and returns itself as a cost. It's obvious it would be a bit overpowered if it did, the thing can negate summons, effects, and attacks. So one thing that kind of jumped at me when viewing the card, is that it didn't float into anything. This was a little dumb idea that popped into my head from the release of Cosmic Blazar Dragon, and I thought it might be fun to share.
